Tasmania - Freycinet

The Friendly Beaches, Freycinet Peninsula.
Lindsay’s fish catch and our dinner – Australian Salmon.
Our hosts for a night, Pademelons, which are unique to Tasmania.
The Peninsula Walk - Day 1 – Cook’s Beach, the first night’s camp spot.
The first day of our trek and the first rain cloud we had seen in a week!
It rained solidly for 12 hours.
Day 2 - Views back across Schouten Island as we ascended Mount Graham.
That is a grimace, the ascent was hard work.
Our first glimpse of Wineglass Bay and our destination for Day 2.
A real smile on the summit of Mount Graham.
A very friendly Pademelon - we didn't let her eat the bag!
The view that greeted us from our camp spot.
Sailing boat in Wineglass Bay.
Looking north along Wineglass Bay.
More of Wineglass Bay, making the pain in our feet slowly fade away.
Camp Chef. It's amazing how delicious food cooked in a Trangia can taste after a hard days walk.
Day 3 – our final day!
Nearly finished - only 60 mins of uphill left.
We had walked from the far right of the picture, over the peak of the middle mountain and down into the Bay.
Another angle of the Freycinet Peninsula, from Swansea, Tasmania!
