| Our first flat tyre, which happened on the evening England were playing Sweden in the World Cup. We were desperately searching for a place where we could pull up and find TV reception to watch the game .Linds was not prepared to change the tyre in the dark and 'at that time of night' so we missed it!! Thankfully we didn't miss anything special and were actually more gutted that we had missed a critical episode of The Bill!! |

| This is John Webb. The lovely gentleman who we bought La Dolce Vita from, back in NSW. Well many months and 2100km later, who should pull up next to us in his new van but John. What a small world! |

| The weather had been calm in the lead up to the race and Claire thought she was going to just sit around and watch Linds practice all he had learnt from his competent crew course...... |

| .......she was in for a surprise - becoming one of the crew who flings themselves from one side of the boat to the other when the boat tacks and gybes. Fortunately the view was maginificent and we all had a blast - and gave the skipper his first win in the competition! |
